On the 13th of March, I was privileged to be a part of a fund raiser for the St Luke’s hospital’s charity at the Methodist Girls’ School (MGS). It felt really good to be back in school; what I miss most about it in general is the energy and enthusiasm. To the graduating class, you have your whole life ahead of you, remember to keep pursuing your dreams!

Am in Japan right now and this is something I wrote yesterday that I’d like to share with you guys;

“….snowing, next to a loved one, jazz music in the background, cup of hot cafe latte with caramel at Starbucks, looking at people by the window scribbling and sketching on their not-so-new notebooks, watching people jostle and make their way at the Shibuya crossing….could not help but wonder how many of those million steps were a rush to a loved one(s), strides made in haste or panic, the occassional rare indifferent slow steps of a desolate homless figure….the beauty of it is not having to make sense out of all this, but just being able to experience it all over again…”

Just had a really wonderful time over the Christmas and new year season; time well spent with family and friends, a successful homecoming gig, and 3 weddings! 2009 was really good to us, but I hope 2010 will be a year of new things and surprises; that each year we grow, we never take for granted the privilege of being able to pursue our dreams….

I’m REALLY excited to be able to start 2010 with a 3-day gig at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre Singapore, the premier stage here! See you there! Details are:

Beautiful old villas and mansions- ever wonder how it feels like to live in one of those? European grandeur with a pellucid view into the past lifestyles of the elect few. Wake up to the sun rays casting shadows against the bedroom walls, feel the ever slight breeze making its way through your hair, listen to the sounds of life: the audible chirping of birds and the silent proclaimation of blooming flowers.

Not a soul as far as the eye can see, it is a refuge where you and Creator fellowship, a time for contemplation and making peace within. It is my secret place, etched into the warmth of Thy embrace…

Hey all! FINALLY I’ve gotten a dedicated website and myspace page. Just got back from Russia (amazing country!) and working hard on putting the remaining things together for the official album launch (procrastination is evil! =))…it’s been quite a ride, years in the making, but when things slowly fall into place and your dream unfolds before you…the feeling’s amazing!

To all those who have been a part of this journey, thank you so much for your encouragement and support all these years, even if it was just one word that made my day!….I hope I won’t disappoint you J For all those who have yet to know me and my music, a big welcome! …. see you guys soon…in the meantime, do have a listen to the audio samples!
